  • How to get to Braga:
    Passport/visa:
    Portugal is a signatory to the 1995 Schengen Agreement. Depending on your country of origin you might need a passport and visa to enter Portugal. Please check here what are the requirements for your particular case. List of Portuguese embassies/consulates around the world.

    Airports: The faster and more convenient way to get to Braga from abroad is by plane. You can fly to Porto Airport (about 54km from Braga) or to Lisbon Airport (about 358km from Braga). The two airports are marked in the map above. If you fly to Porto, you can take a taxi to Braga, or you can take the Metro or a taxi to the City of Porto and then catch the train to Braga. If you fly to Lisbon you can take a taxi or a bus to the Oriente Train Station, and from there take a train to Braga. In both airports you will be able to rent a car (you can find the contacts on the airports webpages). Please make sure that your driver's license is valid in Portugal.

    Traveling by car Braga is connected to the larger system of European mortorways. You can get directions to Braga here.
